Happy 2010 to Everyone!

Along with the New Year, will come my attempts to more frequently update this blog. Here in my hometown of NYC, there have been a string of new vegan openings the last month or so. Here is the rundown of what I can think of.

*New*
Cafe Blossom UES- Blossom's new Upper East Side outpost. Menu is a little different from the UWS location.
Cocoa V- Vegan truffle and wine bar. (Currently, they are waiting on their beer & wine license)
Vinnie's Pizza A Greenpoint location opened and delivery will hopefully start in the next few weeks.
Sun in Bloom- This in the location of Organic Heights that closed recently, and Sun in Bloom took over the place the next day. I'm going to give them time before I try them out.

*Changes*
Pala Pizza- This LES restaurant, in the last 2 months, has introduced a entire half of their menu for vegans. The price is higher then Vinnies Pizzeria but the quality is great, as are the drinks.
Babycakes- Opened a new spot in L.A. If you're on the West-coast, check them out.

*Closed*
Organic Heights- The aforementioned restaurant.
Red Bamboo, Brooklyn- Still quite puzzled about this, as the owner cited a lack of customers but I usually saw the place at least 1/4 full, if not more.
